About the day
Issy and Carl’s celebration unfolded at a private family residence tucked along the Hood Canal — a place layered with generations of memories and meaning. From the beginning, the focus was on creating a seamless, intimate experience that honored both the setting and the people gathered there.
What I’m most proud of
We sourced an exceptional, supportive vendor team while staying within budget and carefully mapped the celebration layout to allow for smooth transitions throughout the day. A full ceremony-to-reception flip was thoughtfully planned and executed to maintain flow without disrupting the guest experience.
The biggest challenge
Mother Nature had other plans. Rain arrived just one hour before the ceremony, but by staying committed to Plan A until the final moment, our team pivoted calmly and kept the entire evening on schedule.
A favorite memory
The processional emerging from the family cabin, cutting into a personalized croquembouche tower, and celebrating in a home filled with shared history — moments that felt deeply personal and unforgettable.
